Welcome to Cozy Campers Slumber Parties and Events! I'm thrilled to share a little about myself and the journey that led me to start this slumber party teepee business in Peoria, IL.  My name is Vanessa and as a wife and mom of five (yes, five—send help!), I traded my HR consultant badge for a stay-at-home mom cape in 2020, right around the time my fourth child was born.  My husband, a Peoria native, and I met online 13 years ago—proving that there are more than just weirdos online! We've been happily married for the past 12 years.

When I first heard about the concept of a slumber party teepee business, I knew it was the perfect fit for me.  Be creative and wow others, done, got it!!  I decided to jump in with both feet and haven't looked back once. Cozy Campers is more than just a business; it's a creative outlet in the midst of the crosses we carry.

 

Our youngest daughter, who is almost 4 years old now, was born with a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis (NF1). This condition allows tumors to grow inside her body and on her skin. Despite this, Therese has brought endless joy to our family and everyone she meets. It is my hope that Cozy Campers can bring some of that same joy to you.

 

When I'm not juggling the roles of mom, chef, cleaning lady, or taxi driver, I cherish moments like eating a hot meal, taking uninterrupted showers, and savoring a quiet morning with a cup of coffee (or maybe 7).
